Hello ๐Ÿ‘‹ , I am Mary Okosun, a Biochemist turned Front end developer.

I am a front end developer. I have always been fascinated with technology and few months after graduation from the University, I finally delved into coding full time. After working as a Research assistant at the University of Benin, Nigeria for about 6 months, it dawned on me that I was not fully satisfied with my career choice. I had to make a switch to tech, on a lighter note, to get details about the transition, we could do that over a cup of coffee ๐Ÿ˜‰

Currently I have been coding for about 2 years and I enjoy writing clean and reusable codes. I am result oriented and dedicated to creating user-friendly websites. I am interested in leveraging analytical skills and I am a very detailed individual and I take pride in delivering accurate and detailed web projects. I enjoy learning new concepts and I have written few technical articles. I write and blog about my experiences, short-comings and victories in my new found career, precisely JavaScript. I am learning design at the moment and designing this portfolio is one of my projects. I am quite jovial and my friends say I have a great sense of humor, I guess. When I am not coding, you can find me trying out a new local dish on YouTube (I am a great cook by the way) or playing volleyball, a libero till the end.

Fun fact about me: I am quite terrible with languages. I attempted learning Spanish at some point. Picked up a few and forgot a lot. Anyways Buen dia amiga/amigo.

PROJECTS

I have designed and developed quite a lot of projects, however my favorite is the TODO app I built using React. This project involved the use of CRUD technology. It allows you to add a list to the Todo app and mark a task as done and uses State to check for the remaining tasks and renders to the app. This was my first task I created while learning React. This project is hosted on my Github
